Donate Funds/Supplies
Time and compassion are essential, but the kind of care and welfare we provide animals also comes from financial support and the material items. Animal care can be costly; everything from basic food and shelter to quality veterinarian care.
The most basic food costs for a dog can be a couple hundred dollars a year; and heartworm prevention, flea and tick control and basic vaccinations can top over a thousand dollars. Likewise, the HSofMC incurs expenses caring for cats and horses. And some animals require special care or corrective surgeries.
It’s the small things, too, that make a HUGE difference. Donated blankets, pet food and toys help us sustain support of the animals in foster care. It’s the simple things on our wish list, like extra collars or leashes that may seem inconsequential to one pet owner but so very valuable to the abandoned dog or cat that finds its way to the HSofMC. Your contributions, like the pets we care for, are precious.
All membership funds are placed in the general fund and distributed where they are most needed. Donations and membership forms can be sent to: HSofMC, PO Box 298, Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338-1128.
