Get Involved
It doesn’t take much to make a difference. A little act of kindness can make life a lot better for all the inhabitants of Morrow County – including our furry friends on all fours. And the Human Society of Morrow County is here to advocate for the humane treatment of all animals in our community.
As there are always animals in need, there will always be a need for the HSofMC. That’s why your involvement matters so much. There are just as many reasons to get involved, as there are ways too:
Membership
The members are the heart and soul of HSofMC. There are opportunities to serve on committees for developing grant programs, fundraising and advancing awareness about animal welfare. All members are invited to the annual meeting. Become a member today and read our newsletter to find out what our members have been up to!
Be a Volunteer
Our volunteers make the HSofMC tick. Whether it is educational outreach or fundraising, we rely on volunteers to make things happen! Become a volunteer today!
Foster an Animal
The HSofMC currently does not have a shelter and our animals rely exclusively on the compassionate and caring families that open their homes. Foster care is an essential program that gives us a little more time to ensure that we find the right forever home for every animal in our care. Help us fulfill our mission to end animal suffering in Morrow County by fostering a pet today.
Donate
Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation can support the cost of animal care or our feral cat fund. And, one day soon, we hope to raise enough funds to open a HSofMC facility to provide shelter and care for animals in need. We also are in need of supplies – check our wish list for suggestions.
